Sept. 29, 2020: Made-in-America designer George Esquivel is launching sneakers for the first time. With that comes a limited-edition design in collaboration with “The Way I See It,” a film about former Chief Official White House Photographer for President Barack Obama Pete Souza, from Focus Features, MSNBC Films, Jaywalker Pictures and Ace Content. The Esquivel X The Way I See It style, designed with the word “Vote,” supports voter registration and participation in democracy, with a portion of proceeds going to non-partisan organization Headcount. The sneaker will launch in line with the movie’s premiere of on Oct. 16. It will be available for purchase for $325 at Esquivel House in L.A. and online at georgesquivel.com.
